About this exam
The Certified Management Accountant (CMA) exam assesses a candidate’s knowledge in management accounting, strategic management, and business decision‑making. It is administered in two four‑hour parts—Financial Planning, Performance, and Analytics and Strategic Financial Management—each containing 100 multiple‑choice questions and two essay questions.
