About this exam
The CompTIA A+ certification validates foundational knowledge and skills for entry-level IT support roles. The current V15 version requires passing two separate 90‑minute exams, Core 1 (220‑1201) covering hardware and networking fundamentals, and Core 2 (220‑1202) focusing on operating systems, security, and troubleshooting.
